I’m in Cannes!

I’m in Cannes!

What did I do today? I watched three movies!

10. Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows - loved it! You can definitely do a queer reading of the film but I find that it makes it more enjoyable. I love their interactions.

11. What’s Your Number - I like this French movie poster for the movie better. I love when they change the names abroad. It was nothing special.

12. Anonymous - I love Rhys. I think he’s fantastic! Thought it was a great concept and thoroughly enjoyed it.

P.S. I’ve seen more than 10 movies this year I’m just so lazy.

Behind the Scenes of the Day: The creators of the arresting title sequences of Seven, Mad Men, Zombieland, andBlue Valentine explain their art. Or, why we’re sucked into things from the opening seconds.

It’s Karin Fong! I love seeing people I worked with on things. It’s like I know famous people or something

9.) The Big Shave

One of Scorsese’s early films which might be a metaphor for the Vietnam war. Watch till the end.

8.)  THE HUNGER GAMES
Loved it. Took me a while to like Woody as Haymitch but he grew on me. I still think it was a poor casting decision. Effie on the other hand was utter brilliance. Also saw this on opening night and the theater was practically empty. Going the night of seems to be an American phenomenon.

7.) I Don’t Know How She Does It
I feel like it tried to be two movies at once and needed to pick one story line to follow.

6.) The Vow
Was not expecting the ending at all. I don’t know if I’d watch it again. I had such high hopes and I felt a little disappointed.
